This privately run resource cannot issue official records. Questions about Columbia County criminal records belong with the government office that created or maintains the file. The routes below identify the correct Sheriff or court contact.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that holds the specific Columbia County record:

  • Court case files: use the court case lookup or call the clerk for the court that heard the matter
  • Repository history: follow Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Georgia Crime Information Center procedures
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Columbia County Sheriff's Records Section or Detention Center
  • Official checks: use the GBI/GCIC channel appropriate to the request
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Expungement and record sealing: file with the court that heard the case

For Sheriff-held reports, contact the Columbia County Sheriff's Records Section, 2273 County Camp Road, Appling, GA 30802, at 706-541-1042 or 706-541-1043. The current Sheriff site also lists 2269 County Camp Road, so call before visiting. Records hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.

For filed criminal cases, contact the Columbia County Clerk of Superior Court at 640 Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans, GA 30809, 706-312-7139. Superior Court may be reached at 706-312-7230. Magistrate Court, which handles warrants, first appearances, preliminary hearings, and most bond decisions, is at the same complex and may be reached at 706-868-3316.
